Safety Footwear
One of our specialty footwear offerings is safety footwear. Our safety footwear is certified by the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) which verifies footwear that is safe for the workplace based on internationally recognized criteria. This footwear features sole puncture protection designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resists cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. Our safety footwear also has a Grade 1 protective toe designed to withstand impact of up to 125 Joules (comparable to a 50lb weight dropped from 0.6 m). The soles provide resistance to electric shock with insulating properties that can withstand 18,000 Volts and a leakage current not exceeding 1mA.
